Summer Gathering
Every year we will organize a Summer Gathering for the students and supervisors of the research school.
The purpose of this meeting is to increase the interaction between the students and to share knowledge between research groups.
VT 2013
On May 2nd-3rd, all students and supervisors of the CEROSS research school are invited to attend our Spring Gathering at Marstrand Havshotell.
This Spring Gathering is an opportunity for PhD students to present their projects and meet and get feedback from other researchers in the field of sex hormones. Priority will be given to PhD students registered at the CEROSS research school and their supervisors but others interested are welcome as well.
VT 2011
On May 19-20th, all students and supervisors of the Ceross research school are invited to attend our summer gathering. The preliminary location is "Marsstrands havshotell".
VT 2010
On May 27-28th, all students and supervisors of the CEROSS Research School are invited to attend our Spring Gathering at Thorskogs slott, Västerlanda.
The students will have the opportunity to present an update of their research activities and there will be time available for discussion. It will also be a good opportunity for the different supervisors to sit together and discuss possible collaborations within the sex steroid field.
We have invited Prof. Matti Poutanen, Director of the Turku Center for Disease Modeling at the University of Turku, Finland (click here for website) to give a talk on animal models for sex steroid action: "Genetically modified mice as models in reproductive hormone research: The mouse model translates to the human".
VT 2009
In June (2nd-3rd), all students and supervisors of the Research School are invited to our Summer Gathering at Gullmarsstrand, Fiskebäckskil.
At the gathering we will listen to project descriptions from all students and discuss them.
We have also invited Lars-Åke Mattsson, who will give a lecture about the good and bad effects of estrogen/gestagen treatment in peri- and postmenopausal women.
